Are You An Emotional Eater?

By Corrin Ainley
Naturopath ND, Nutritionist, Body Talk Practitioner

Ever noticed how your mood directs your food. Sometimes we find ourselves feeding our feelings rather than our bodies. Both psychological and physiological factors affect what we choose to put in our bodies, and dictate the relationship we have between food and emotions.

The link between food and mood has been established in a number of scientific studies. Many showing that anxiety, lethargy, irritability, depression, sleeping difficulties and cravings can, and do result from a poor or imbalanced diet.

While our moods impact our diets, conversely what we eat impacts our emotions and state of mind.

As a Nutritionist, Naturopath and Certified BodyTalk Practitioner I provide a unique, comprehensive and integrated approach. Throughout my years in practice I have found treating both the physiological and underlying lifestyle/emotional patterns has proven to give the best outcomes for my clients.

Part of my success is using the BodyTalk system to transform the unconscious patterns and allows people to truly change.

Working with emotional health is as essential as the food you put in your body.
