MY ROLE AS A NATUROPATH
I qualified as a naturopath in 2004, and being able to help people is one of the great joys of my life.
Whether I’m helping someone understand why their body is doing what it’s doing or how nutrition or a deficiency affects how your body functions, I love having the opportunity to listen, guide and support your journey to better health.
Overcoming my own health challenges has shaped how I work, including a cancer diagnosis to subsequent infertility and beyond. I know what it is like to be heard or not.
I know what it is like to be treated kindly as an individual or not.
As a result, I treat the people who come to see me as I want to be treated – with respect, honesty, and understanding that we are all humans trying to do the best we can.
I specialise in holistic women’s health through all ages and stages of life.
My health journey led to a passion for supporting women to first cope with, then adapt to, and finally thrive with optimum health and joyous vitality in the face of all the challenges thrown our way in our 30’s, 40’s, 50’s and beyond.
Whether it’s too much stress and subsequent mental health challenges, too little sleep, digestive issues, weight gain, or hormonal imbalance – we can find a way to get you back on track.
You might even discover a whole new level of well-being you hadn’t thought possible.
In consultation, we work together to uncover the root cause(s) of your ill health through detailed case notes and relevant pathology testing where necessary.
I then develop a treatment strategy with a step-by-step action plan for you, including advice on dietary changes, lifestyle modifications, nutritional supplementation and herbal remedies.
I also provide referrals to other healthcare providers if needed.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to health.
Your healing journey will be as unique as you are. And I’m there to support you every step of the way.
